Eating our Christmas meal with the bike club gang and listening to the 2,dudes playing some tunes. Good times and I am enjoying the drink and the company. Glad to be part of all of this craziness. Bike club prize draw of a voucher for £50 for a meal at the Red House was won by JackieBlairgowrie & District MCC added 20 new photos.Thursday, November 30th, 2017 at 4:15pmThis coming year 2018 is the 25th year of the Blairgowrie and District motorcycle club. It started in Coupar Angus and has moved several times for meeting places as required.
We are presently found in Number 31 in the Wellmeadow Blairgowrie where we are enjoying the hospitality of the Bannermans who run a very welcoming bar and restaurant. The club has had many members throughout the years and enjoyed lots of adventures, laughs and great nights of food, music and quizz nights. We are very proud how along with our friends and supporters have been able to raise funds for many local charities including heart foundation, adult resource centre, Alyth pipe band to name but a few and also with our yearly ride out for the Dundee Maggies centre many thousands of £ have been raised to support this worthy centre who, with the help of donation and volunteers time make the world a bit more happier and comforting for those suffering from cancer.
The club Committee would like to hold a dance within the area to bring everyone together for a celebration of good times past and to the future. We would ask you all to offer a suggestion on music you would like to hear and a band that you enjoy. If you think you can support a night sometime in April/ May time we can make all the arrangements to bring it together and keep cost down to cover the overheads. Everyone is welcomed so please drop your name to us and we will get organising. Any other clubs in the area, bike or otherwise are welcome to join us and offer up suggestions. Look forward to seeing what comes. Cheers from the BADMCC committee.Blairgowrie & District MCCSunday, November 12th, 2017 at 12:43pmYes - our next club night will be a QUIZ from me to test what's left of your brains! And we now have 21 folk coming to the Christmas meal on 8th Dec,a good turnout so far and space for more..... but we do have to pre-order a week ahead so please let me know beforehand, you can't turn up on the night and expect food! I'll be chasing your menu choices before the end of November. And we'll be having the Prize draw on the night for a £50 meal voucher at the Red House Hotel Coupar Angus. All our current members names (all 38 of you) will be put in the bag and someone will win it! So you can absolutely stuff yourself or bring a friend to share it with!
The roads have now been salted so there's even more crud around, please take care if you're still out on the bike

We've now got the menus from the Old Cross Inn in Rattray , and it's booked for Friday 8th December. The Old Cross is now under new management with a new chef so it's better than before, as we've tested it recently. I hope you can join us on 8th! Please bring your partner/friend etc as well if you like, even if not a club member, that's OK.
There are two menus attached, the Christmas menu and the regular menu, as we can choose from either. We do need to pre-order a week before the meal, ie by the 1st Dec, so I'll need your choices by then please .
They have one real ale on draught, usually from Strathbraan brewery, as well as the usual wines and beers. They're on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/theoldcrossinn/
We'll also have a prize draw on the night for a meal for two voucher.
We have the T-shirt and tops printing sorted now (thanks Fiona) and you can choose from any type from their catalogue. I'll have one soon, so you'll have the choice of all colours as well as logo size, layout and slogan. Probably £10 for a T-shirt and £20 for a hoodie etc.
BobBlairgowrie & District MCCSaturday, October 14th, 2017 at 10:03amHi everyone
I have an MRA sport X-screen for sale. Bought a couple of months ago for £85, but it didn't provide enough protection for me on my Sprint so I'm selling it. It clips easily on the top of your existing screen and is 63mm tall. See attached pic. It does work on some bikes, seems to depend on your height and the riding position. Screen as new, yours for £50. If not sold soon I'll put it on Gumtree.
Also we're trying to organise a Club T-shirt/Hoodie/sweatshirt etc order. As we don't know who wants what, can you let me know please if you're interested? We hope to offer choice of colour, style and of course sizes. Options will be large BAD MCC logo on front, or small logo on chest pocket, with or without the slogan on the back.
We still have 4 med, 2 large and one XL black T-shirt in stock, and two black sports shirts in Large, all without the slogan on the back, at £10ea.
Meetings are still weekly till the end of this month, then the first and third Tuesday of the month from November to end March.
